The wooden steps down to the beach at Compton Fields on the Isle of Wight. It’s quite a hike back up with a longboard if you’ve been surfing for a few hours, or if you’re carrying sacks of rubbish up from a beach clean.
I have always wanted to do something with them visually and finally the samyang 8mm fisheye lens lets me get across that feeling of vertigo you get as you look down from the top of the cliff!
This is a vertical panorama (Vertorama) created from two frames with the fisheye lens, and finished off with a few flypaper textures to add some interest to an overexposed cloudless sky. (Click here to visit Flypaper Textures.)
