The Evolution of Isle of Wight Surfing Man by Jason Swain.
I think i’ve used a similar title to this in the past, but it just seemed perfect for this shot of the various surfing lifeforms emerging from the water at Compton Beach on the Isle of Wight.
Shot on the evening of the first real swell of this years surfing season, the waves had been pumping most of the day and there was just a few surfers left in the water milking the last ones at low tide as the sun went down.
Shot with the Sigma 12-24mm wide-angle lens on a Canon 6d camera body.
Exif data = f/4.5 at 1/800 iso200 12mm
