Surfing Isle of Wight

Surfing Isle of Wight by Jason Swain.

“Lets go surfin now
Everybodys learning how”

I wanted to create a few different ‘surf shots’ looking a bit more at the people and locations and beach culture rather than just purely the act of wave-riding (which i do focus on a lot on my soul-surfing website).

So here’s one from the Easter weekends classic swell event, with a father and son heading in for a surf at Compton Bay. Shot wide angle using the Sigma 12-24mm wide angle lens on the full frame Canon 6d camera body. I’ve also added a dash of flypaper texture to this one, help bring out the vibrant colours and add some warmth. (Click here to visit Flypaper Textures.)

Exif Data = f/5 at 1/640 ISO 100 12mm
