Sunrise at Freshwater Bay by Jason Swain. A silhouetted cormorant spreads its wings and makes the most of the warmth on offer during a glorious start to the day at Freshwater Bay last week. The colours and light are almost enough to convince you it was warm, but at that time early on a January morning it most definitely was not.
Shot with the Sigma 50-500mm telephoto lens on a Canon 6d camera body.
Exif data = f/6.3 at 1/250 iso 100 287mm
