Formation & Elegance – Snow Drifts at the Pepperpot Lighthouse

Formation & Elegance by Jason swain. This photograph of the Ebb and Flow of snow drifts and clouds at the Pepperpot lighthouse on St Catherines Down during a recent ‘snow episode’ prompted me to return to one of my old favourite websites, ‘The Abstract Art Title Generator‘.

If you’re ever finding it difficult to invent a ridiculous or pretentious title for your photos or paintings its an invaluable resource 🙂 Actually, as far as it goes, Formation & Elegance isn’t that silly or pretentious this time, i think it almost seems quite fitting to describe the elegant lines and curves of the wind-shaped snow formations.

Although it might look like a good subject for a vertorama (vertical panorama), this is a single shot taken with the Sigma 12-24mm wide angle lens on the Canon 6D camera body.

Exif Data = f/6.3 at 1/640 ISO 100 12mm
