Isle of Wight Beach Clean by Jason Swain. Today (23rd March) at Compton Bay it was the ‘Big Spring Beach Clean’ organised by our local SAS rep and as always there was a mountain of rubbish to bag up and remove, the majority of it made of plastic.
As much as i make the island look beautiful in my photographs, we shouldn’t forget that all is not quite what it seems in paradise and its up to all of us to do what we can, to make sure some of this natural beauty is left intact for the next generation to enjoy too.
Chose this shot of wet sand reflections on the beach at Compton as a little reminder of what’s worth preserving.
Shot with the Canon 6d and the Sigma 12-24mm wide angle lens.
Exif data = f/5 at 1/640 ISO 100.
