Freshwater Bay Sea Pinks by Jason Swain. One beautiful morning at Freshwater Bay from a few weeks back, its early summer and the Sea Pinks (thrift) are in bloom and there’s hardly a cloud in the sky, they are late appearing this year because summer took so long to show up, but they so seem to be making up for being late by being extra colourful.
A little bit of sunshine and something pretty for those Monday Morning Blues!
Shot with a shallow DoF using the 50mm f1.2L on the Canon 6d Camera.
Exif data = f/2.2 at 1/4000 iso100
Had to go out to f/2.2 to avoid being over-exposed as the 6d has a shutter speed limit of 1/4000. I’ve got a variable ND filter for that, but forgot to have it in the bag on that particular day!
