A perfect day on the Isle of Wight, walking from Newport to Merstone.

Bit of a random photo-blog from a perfect day on the Isle of Wight, spent walking from Newport to Merstone with several mothers and babies and Noodle the Golden Doodle. We’d been walking through a canopy of trees for about half an hour when we came out into dazzling sunlight and this amazing blue field of linseed (flax) flowers all topped off with a sprinkling of fluffy cumulus clouds and some majestic oak trees. Noodle couldn’t contain his excitement and spent the next ten minutes happily bouncing around the field.
